After a few more hours, I remain stumped. I think it must have something to do with Windows. I cannot record onto Audacity using Stereo Mix; If I record using the output device "loopback", it's distorted with a massive amounts of reverb, despite all "special effects" disabled.
But, the Stereo Mix properties look fine. I do have to mess with the levels on both the Realtek output and the Stereo Mix input just to get something that *looks* right. I don't recall having to do this before. If I try to use the automated Windows Sound troubleshooter, it literally deletes everything Realtek including the dirvers. It replaces Stereo Mix with Microphone. So, I have to reinstall everything. The only thing I can think of doing is to uninstall/reinstall LMS, and hope that it works. -------------- I checked out that CDPlayer thread briefly the other day, and it didn't seem to help, but I'll revisit it if I ever solve this other dilemma. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bzlrbi's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30606 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112728 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
