IIRC "Stereo Mix" is not "liked" by MS as it can be used to copy
"protected" streams so MS no longer support it - support comes from
vendor specific drivers. You shouldn't have to reinstall everything just
explicitly the Realtek driver maybe from Realtek or your PC supplier
sites (e.g. Dell)
