This is not sabotage but MS working to their specs. Their hw specs for
audio is simple single-mic in and simple direct 2-speaker out and hat is
what their driver expect. Modern system often have mic arrays and audio
output which is driven by software (e.g. vol control is no longer by a
hardware pot). On my Dell laptop MaxxAudioPro is part of Realtek suite
necessary to support their mic array hardware - it has advanced feature
which do not have to be enabled. The REaltek also handles the ability
for audio out/mic in to be on BT (e.g.headphones ), line out
(e.g.earbuds with mic), HDMI/Displayport etc. I would look to the
vendor site (e.g system , motherboard) for specific driver for your
system and re-install it and do NOT ask Win10 to trouble shoot.
