The SB3 remains a very competent player. The only downside is it is limited to 16/48 so if your library or streaming service contains HD tracks at 24/96 or higher then it will be transcoded. Funnily enough I have just replaced an SB3 in my Living Room for a Pi4 plus Khadas Tone Board - it is a bit of a step up, more than I expected.
