Yes, bios is set properly and the ethernet adaptor supports it and
configured according to online tutorials. The notebook is on LAN not
WLAN. The manufactuer's website provided info for Wake-ON-LAN issue of
this model and others due to Windows 10. But it was a few years ago. I
suspect the problem has something to do with new updates in Windows 10.
After all, for a non-tech person, it takes a lot of time to
trouble-shoot. This is the second time I tried to make it work. The last
time was one year ago.
