Interesting observation that the Pi may not be the most energy efficient solution. I have wondered the same thing because even when the Pcp/LMS is not playing any music the cpu temp for my 3B+ always is about 58C. I saw in the tweaks there is a cpu governor option of power save. I tried power save and looked at the cpu temp chart, and the temperature did not change much, maybe 1C. I have noticed 1C fluctuations seem normal. My understanding running LMS does not require much cpu power, so i might just leave it in power save. While maybe not the most energy efficient, I do like the small size of the Pi and it doesnt take up much space my media equipment area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ P Nelson's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58158 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114874
