Hi I had exactly the same problem with SS 6.5 when using iTunes to rip from cds.
It seems to be a problem with the way that iTunes stores album information, and I tried everything including rescans and even re-ripping, all to no avail. The only solution that I found works completeley is to use a program such as "Album cover art downloader" to search and then download art, and then "Mp3tag" (an excellent program)to retag each of the affected albums. This is pretty longwinded, but it works every time.
