That's exactly what putting AJAX in the web interface does-- offloading
the interface to the client side. I didn't put AJAX in all elements of
Touch/Nokia770, but you should get great performance from the 'now
playing' and 'playlist' pages.

The promise of the web interface over something like Moose is true
cross-platform compatibility. Of course, cruddy things like the IE
browser hamper that promise, but suffice it to say the only reason I
haven't checked out Moose is because I don't use windows.
