I'm using ; as separator myself and the only thing I needed to change
to make it work was the "Multiple items in tags" setting.

I'm not sure what it will do if there is a space in the tags, so you
might want to check that also if you haven't done so.

Maybe there might be differences between different file formats ? I'm
using FLAC format on all my music where it works.
