That would be fine but I am using the old fashioned CAT 5 wire of which
I have a lot running through my house. ( I have grey hair) I have
thought about connection problems but I will have the Media player
streaming the same internet radio URL ( so I can listen without
interruption) and that will not skip, pause, etc. I know that Media
player may be buffering differently but I have gone into the slim sever
setups and set the buffering way up. My slim sever is just that, a
music server on a Dell Optiplex blah blah blah 1 gig of ram and is six
months old running XP Pro. The only other service it provides is print
spooling. It is a dedicated music box. But that is a good point as I
do see on a few of the digitally supplied channels on my Comcast
service some pixelisation on the image. A call to Comcast would not be
a waste of time. Thanks.
