Gibbo, As for purchase and not knowing where you live, just do an internet search for itx motherboards. The list will not be really long but look for the best price as there are a few companies out there that have very good rankings that will price gouge you. I.E. i saw one mini system with 60GB HD and CD drive for 779.00 and the exact same system somewhere else for 499.00. and that was one of the more expensive ones. As long as the processor is 1Ghz or better with at least 1GB of memory you should be all set to run Windows XP Pro SP2. Thats what I run. As for Vista or XP Media Center They may tax it a bit. I bought this one as a bare bones kit as it had the best price at the time and i have all sorts of extra drive and memory hanging around. I left out all the extras that they want you to install. I would have to check this evening what i did install so i could run it headless and access it through Remote Desktop.
