I would also throw the Swan S200A's (or one of their other powered models) onto your short list. I'm using the S200A's in a secondary setup, and they are excellent. Unfortunately, they do NOT have a standby power mode. I just leave mine on all the time, and power my Squeezebox on and off as needed.
