That's bad news - do you know was this intentional? Is a bug opened? I'm starting to think I will just scrap all the VA detection in SC and instead tag my VA albums with ALBUMARTIST="Various Artists". I already tagged a bunch of Christmas compilations using ALBUMARTIST="Various Christmas" to get them out of the way. And I really dislike how SC is always moving "Various Artists" to the top of lists, and showing it on every page. Just sort it under "V". I think this actually causes some problems with using the number keys on the remote to jump within the artist list - binary search doesn't work so well when the list is not sorted.
