That is correct; my SB3 works fine, and has no skipping, with a 60% signal. At the same time, the controller fails. It only works when it's literally next to the router.
I'm past the 30 days, unfortunately, so it appears i have a useless piece of hardware that I paid $299 for. Very disappointing that there has been no official response from Logitech. FYI i tried changing routers...from a D-Link to a Netgear.
