Thanks to all for the careful thought put into this matter. I've created an issue (https://github.com/swcarpentry/board/issues/111) where I would welcome any further discussion, and I will also help get a set of community guidelines started (hopefully with lots more input from all of you!). I will coordinate with Jonah and the rest of the steering committee to make sure we're getting a breadth of opinions and developing tractable strategies.
