It wouldn't be accurate to call Proloquo a screen reader. The quote talking interface for people with visual impairments unquote is limited to Proloquo screens, perhaps only those set up for a student by a teacher. It is a very nice product for what it does. It also pairs well with their alternative access (single or multiple switch, touch screen) software.
