I don't know for sure, but I'd wager leopard will run on both
processors. I'd also guess it will be the last os to do so. All
future os development will be done for intel processors only.
The reason i think it will run on both is because leopard began it's
development before the intel switch was official. While it's
possible internally thhe os team knew the switch was going to happen,
they still needed to develop on existing hardware, and that was ppc.
I'd call leopard the transition os. It'll handle both, but trend
towards intel to convince folks it's time to migrate.
Of course, this is all speculation on my part, and I could be all
wet, and apple could announce tomorrow leopard is released, runs only
on intel macs, and ppc is no longer supported.
Not likely, but I've been known to be wrong before, so there it is,
for what it's worth.

Hello list!
Has there been any word from any reliable sources if Leopard will
run on the old G4 Mac Minis? I am getting concerned because
software is already being written that will not run on the older
hardware. I know there has already been much discussion on the
philosophy of being thankful for the time we had with our old
hardware Macintoshes even if it was only thirty seconds. I am not
interested in raising this topic again. I only want comments on
what folks have heard about Leopard running on the G4 and G5
hardware already in the field.
Thanks
