Ah thank you, I know someone who knows more about LINUX than I do
(and that wouldn't have to be much) so I'll quiz him about it further.
Yes, I knew that the OS10 operating system was based on a UNIX system
but wasn't quite sure what the terminal did, in the PC world I always
thought of a terminal as a comms programming, allowing you to
communicate between say your computer and external devices such as
modems and the like.
