I can confirm what Travis says about the quality of the bookshare books. I am considering subscribing again just because there are some books I can get only there. However, I was apalled to find, as Travis says, so many errors and even garbled pages in books supposedly with few errors. I realize volunteers do them, but I can't figure out how they come up with the ratings. I would NEVER use the service to have a book embosed in braille unless I had been through it myself and corrected it. I believe you can submit corrections but you'd have to have the print book to do it fully and in some cases you might as well just resubmit the whole book. I realize most of the books are submitted by fellow subscribers but if I was submitting a book to bookshare you can be sure I would have fully proofread and corrected what I could before submitting. Maybe there's something about this I don't understand; I'm not meaning to be harsh in my criticism but it does seem to me that many of the books could be better prepared or at least better classified as to quality.

Gutenberg is a good source for public domain abooks and they do have quite a bit of spanish.
