I believe most of us on this discussion list are Mac users--whether full-time, or part-time, because we find some things are done better by VoiceOver than say, Jaws or Window-Eyes. Personally, when I used Windows extensively, I used a screenreader called Super Nova. I also had Freedombox System Access. But when Apple introduced Spoken Interface in earlier versions of OSx, I was excited that now I can return to the operating I first learned to use and used it until 2000, when I reluctantly "jumped on the Windows bandwagon." Sure, VoiceOver is a nve player in the screen reader durby, but the revolution is intensifying, and NFB should embrace it, rather than fight against it. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.
