Gabe, the experience I had using the new iMac the other day at the store
proves my point and makes you look silly. When I was using the new iMac it
was far more responsive and worked much more smoothly than mine with just
1GB. I used it for several minutes in a variety of programs and operations
and noted just huge and significant performance improvements over my 9
months old iMac. The changes being double the ram and a dual core processor
with the Intel Dual Core 2 processor.
