Hmm, I don't listen to everything when i read email. I start  
listening to a row in the messages table and either jump to the text  
or delete the message or move to the next row. It certainly doesn't  
take me anywhere near 30 minutes to go through a hundered messages  
unless they are awfully long and I want to read every one.
When I first started it did take me longer to read email but I very  
soon found ways to speed up.
