I'm not going to bat for Gabe. I don't think this is about him. For me, it's about the rest of us.

You know what? I'm going to unsubscribe if he is NOT allowed to re-subscribe because I don't want to be a part of a community that is so intolerant. What do you think of that?

It is important for people to understand that they are responsible for their own actions. Gabe Vega (whatever) never forced anyone to argue with him. He never forced anybody to lose their temper. And he can't force anybody to unsubscribe. That's totally their call.

It's like the Nazi's marching through Skokie, Illinois years ago (google it). They chose Skokie because a lot of Jewish people liv there. You can't stop them. The only thing you can control is your own reaction. The Nazis suck, everybody knows that. So it's not about them. It's about you.

Get it?

Lew, Woody, and all,

I tend to be a rather optimistic person, but there comes a point when you ahve to be realistic. Rather than criticizing those of us who have lost our patience with Gabriel, try to see it from our perspective. Positivity has never worked with him. I have seen these sorts of things tried time and time again in various guises with Gabriel. How many more years do you expect those of us fed up to continue to be generous with him? I am sorry that I haven't unlimitted tolerance for someone who has no tolerance whatsoever for others. Six years of the same nonsense, no matter how many well- meaning people such as yourselves have come to bat for him, Gabriel's behavior has never changed. My patience ran out with him after about three years of it. I applaud your enthusiasm to help him, and by all means hope you are successful for the sake of this community, but I think your efforts would be better spent in that, rather than admonishing those of us who have been through this all before, multiple times, and have nothing left to give.

well done friend. I totally agree with you here on the entire subject. I
have to admit its rather upsetting to see so many being so NEGATIVE and
willing to leave the list. having already seen in my inbox someone asking for info
on leaving the list I am shocked

it doesn't need to be this way. if we support gabe in the right and proper manner then things will be better for us all. the rights of equality are there for us all. don't drive someone out even for this. its like nailing a
coffin or shutting someone out of your life.

so please please people enough already with the negative aspects and lets start hearing some resolution and positive action. I for one will not leave this list even if someone decides to get clever with me. I dont see the point of it. so come on and all of you accept what happens without ram raiding people
 with complexes and guilt trips

do please forgive me for this but I have to confess I am getting rather
tired of reading emails which put a downer on my already tiring and frustrating
day.

lets start this on a new level and continue with our main objectives please

all those in favour?.................. (solitary woof) I thought so lol
