This would be quite helpful in the short and long term. Like Josh, I don't have the time to commit to such an undertaking, but I'd be glad to help out in whatever way I can. I think if we can build a database from the members of this list alone, we should have an impressive number of apps to silence the doubters. As has been suggested, we should try to include a description and link to where the package can be found. Also, tips for apps that may not be fully compatible with VO should be included.
