Gabe - Actually what I found a bit odd about the Colloquy suggestion is that a developer was testing an unrelated app in Voiceover while using Colloquy and filed a bug a couple months ago about the complete unusability of Colloquy with Voiceover, and knowing the Colloquy dev, this is not something that would have changed since.
