Some of your comments are true, but more than not, most are not very
accurate. I have had little trouble browsing the web and have only
encountered some sites that Safari couldn't work with. It may be a
combination of VoiceOver and Safari, but you'd be surprised at the
number of sites that are developed to be browser specific which in
general causes a great deal of problems. I only use windows at work
because I do't have a choice at this point. The other factor to
consider is that VoiceOver is where most screen readers were after
being in production for a few years. I'm amazed at how far VoiceOver
has come just in its short life. Maybe a few years should be 5 years.
I think in time VO will in fact be where mos screen readers are now
and it won't be as long it it took those screen readers. Also, you
have to consider although VoiceOver and the windows-based screen
readers share some common factors, they are yet vastly different. Its
almost difficult to really compare the two do to the differences. And
of course, you are entitled to your opinion, but yes, wait, things
will be different.
