Hi James,

What version of Safari are you running? Safari beta three does seem to be more stable, especially when filling in forms, but the headings issue is a bit inconvenient. But as I think Dane said, this is sheduled to be addresed in Lopard, as well as a tonne of other features added or improved upon acros the Mac in general .

Hope this helps

Hi Dane,

Yeah I have used both and the do work well, provided you know the page in advance in some cases. Take the www.teamxbox.com example I gave. click any of the reviews and once the page opens, try and read it for a while. I don't know what the problem at my end is, but the page keeps exiting the HTML content and you always entd up back at the top after reading for a while.

Best

You both have points here in my opinion. James as I've said, some web sites with Safari are an absolute disaster and Ben as you've said, if we can have examples of URL's in question then we can go and have a look at the offending page, try and work around it or possibly send a sample of the page to Apple to get their opinion, least we can do. James, have you used the link chooser menu or the item chooser menu at all on a web page? I find these tools incredibly useful when I'm browsing the net or surfing, whatever the correct term is these days <smile>.

Also, the fact that one has no method of true webpage navigation as

Some clarification would be useful here too. What is "true ... navigation"? Do you have an example of a page you can't you interact with, and how?

Just to be clear, I'm not saying problems don't exist. I just think it's vastly more helpful to discuss clear specifics.
