No its not, an Imic is a round disc like object if you like with a USB
cable coming out of it which plugs into the USB port of a computer
whether that computer be Windows based or not doesn't matter as Imics
seem to work on both.
On the disc are 2 sockets and a switch, one socket is a line-in/
microphone input whilst the other is a line-out socket, the switch
switches the input between line-in and microphone modes so if you like,
an Imic is an external sound device. What you have are USB headphones.
