Hello Jane and List,
In Onyx, maintenance works real well.
What's so nice is that the help files and the web site are full of
all kind of good stuff. And VO says, "Oh wow! A program I can really
work with." Grin!
Glad I found it.
Hope you get feeling better real soon.

While battling the creeping crud, otherwise known as allergies, I
decided to download this app today. So far, it seems to have done
what I wanted and nothing is affected negatively. I haven't done
maintenance yet, because I'm not sure what that does, but I have
gotten rid of logs and some files and things.
Now, if I could just feel that sure with Monolingual ... :)

Hello,
In the Apple menu, down to OS X Applications and press enter.
After the page loads after two bings, press Option Tab to the
search field and type in
Onyx
and press enter.
Then just following the prompts. And of course, you'll have to
check for the correct link.
Then press enter again.
Now on this page find the downloadable link.
Or you can do a google search for it by going to goggle, go to the
search field and type
Onyx OS X
Have fun.
It really works nicely.

Hello,
Thanks for mentioning Onyx. I just downloaded and installed it.
It really does take care of lots of maintenance stuff. It also
works real well for those of us who rely exclusively on
VoiceOver. I really like it.
Again, thanks to whoever mentioned it.
