The high-end Mac mini should be fine, but you need to hook up a monitor to it because it doesn't come with a display; if somebody sighted is going to use it, this is important. I really like my mini, though I'd eventually like to either have an Intel Mac mini or an imac; my present mini is ppc. There's a good price jump from the mini to the imac so it's likely that when I can finally afford an Intel machine it will still be a mini.
