I absolutely agree with John's posts. Please ask questions,
but the more specific you are about what you need to be able to do the
more help people will probably be able to give. You have been much more
detailed in your concerns in posts subsequent to your first one, and that
really helps. As John has stated, Leopard is definitely overall useful to
blind computer users but that doesn't mean there are no problems or
shortcomings. It will definitely be different from what you have done on
either Windows or linux. I don't know whether you have just worked with
text-based linux or have use Orca, but either way, what you do on the Mac
will be different from these. Using terminal, however, you will be able to
do a number of things that were familiar in linux as a supplement to using
Leopard if you wish.
