Hi Christian,
No offense taken at all. I personally don't get offended easily,
and whether you meant it or not, and I was not the only person to
point it out, your message was presented as to suggest that you were
doubting the potential honesty of list members because of what you
witnessed on the list. I can certainly understand a new user finding
some of the list traffic both confusing and not too helpful, but, at
the same time, one can also gain a lot of insightful information from
the members of this list. The Leopard discussions surely indicate the
usability of the overall system.
In any event, please feel free to ask on the list or contact me
privately if you'd like to pick the proverbial brain about specific
aspects of VO and the Mac. We have some very knowledgeable and
helpful people here, so you will get nothing less than honesty,
whether it be about the shortcomings or the advantages of the Mac
compared to Windows.
Take Care

Without a doubt, the list can get lost in opinions over the
more productive side of the Mac, but I don't think anyone has really

I didn't say so as far as I can remember. I asked whether you can
give me
your impression of the accessibility of the new mac os.
As with Windows and Windows screen readers, one is not going to find
perfection with the Mac and VoiceOver. However, one can easily and
comfortably utilize their Mac productively on a daily basis for all
matters of tasks.
Well, I didn't ask whether leopard is perfect either.
I do think asking someone to be "honest" about their impressions is
implying that no one has been honest on this list, which is a
ridiculous
assumption based on the information provided by several people
virtually on
a daily basis beyond any of the disagreements or debating.
I don't think this implication is appropriate, but this doesn't have
to do
anything with logics. I get the imporession you feel offended by my
question or statement and believe me that was not intended. Maybe
honesty
is not the correct term to describe what I wanted to get.
Regards and thank you all for your answers,
Christian
