hmmm, did you give xp time to boot between the command-g and then entering the keystrokes to restart? I missed that out of my post before, so my bad if you didn't. If not, run through that once more, give it a couple of minutes to boot after you click run to start the virtual machine, then try command-g, give it a couple of secs for it to grab input, and then try the restart. There's no reason why you should need to hook up speakers nope, because they'd only be receiving sound from the same driver as your internal.

Ok, started fusion; selected Windows xp professional; pressed run. Did cmd-g; heard "scdroll area"; did cmd then u then r; it might have restarted but I hear no sound. Should sound work with the internal speaker on the mini or would i need to hook up speakers? The items I can see with voiceover do reflect what I have connected so I think xp pro must have installed ok. I' m using a usb keyboard; there was an item in the window for connecting usb/bluetooth but when I tried it, it said I'd have to install the bootcamp drivers in the window to do that.

Any thoughts?
Tia.
