I am using leopard; I will remember to specify this in the future. I
see that in the card menu; and will look again in the preferences to
see if this field can be added for each new card that I create, so I
don't have to go through the menu each time.

I'm assuming you're using Leopard. If you are not, then this might
still be available in Tiger, but I'm not sure. If you go to the
Card menu in Address Book and choose "Add Field" one of the options
is URL, which is a web address. Choose it and it will add a URL
field to your cards. When you enter the address, you can even
choose what sort of web page it is, or customize it's designation.

Is there a way to add a field in the address book so that I can put
someone's web page address in as well as their email address? I
really would appreciate it if someone could reply to this message
even if you don't know the answer, so that I can test my ability to
post to this list. The list owner is trying to help me with the
problem of my being rejected from the list postings, and I told him
that I would try sending a message in the reply mode; If this
doesn't work, I will have to leave the list; I am the only one
having this problem with not being able to post questions to the
list.
Thanks
