Hi. I must have missed part of this ftp thread because I saw a reference to command k but didn't know what program you use that in. I thought I saw something about using terminal for ftp but don't know if these two were related. I'm currently using the demo of fetcher for ftp but if there's a good accessible free alternative, I'd be interested in knowing what it is. Thanks for the help.

How do I download using it? When I find a FTP site, do I just put in the User ID of the site and my password, copy the URL and hit download?

You just copy to it like you would to any other folder if you have
permission. when you press enter after typing in the address, if it is required, you'll be prompted to put in your user id and password. Thare are variations on this like with other network items that you can use as well. You can also make an alias of it and keep it so you don't have to go to
network and open it.
