I am not a user of this kind of software, though I have a few
friends who certainly do. To me, from experience in several different
situations, in all honesty, the positive, diplomatic method of
addressing accessibility tends to work much more effectively and
creates far less animosity. Surely, there is a time and place for
legal action when all else fails, but I don't believe that this
subject ins one. There is an ongoing dialog and an understanding of
what is required to be done. You can debate the length of time it
has taken until the cows come home, but that is simply
counterproductive and will achieve nothing more. I think, too, this
subject has sort of warn itself out, and I also think we have touched
on the matter of accessibility and the corporation's perceived and
actual responsibilities in the past a few times on this list. In
those instances, it strayed far off the topic of the list's intentions.

Your questions have been answered multiple times in this thread.
You can use it with WIndows. Not yet with Mac. As far as facts,
you've ignored most of them in this thread.
As someone who does hope to eventually use Pro Tools with VoiceOver,
I ask you, sincerely, don't undermine Slau and Rick's work by filing
misguided lawsuits.
I could bring up projects that I've spearheaded that have resulted
in employed blind individuals too, but it is irrelivant, and I don't
feel the need to boast.

Josh I didn't assume anything. Asides from the beta on Tiger that
appears to be very private the only access you guys have is
Outspoken which is outdated and Mac OS 9 which is 5 or 6 releases
from Leopard. I don't care about the money issue because my debit
card works just fine. To bring a end to this I want to know from
you if I can use the copy I purchased for my son or not. If so just
say that and move on if not then when. If no one on this list can
answer that then allow me to try something different. I haven't
done anything counter productive if anything I have produced
results. If you care to hear about the results ask Verizon how many
blind people they now employ because of my efforts. Blind people
earning a living not waiting on a hand out. What exactly is the
current state of accessibility in Pro Tools for Tiger. That is the
question, now what is the answer? Not my grammer or anything else
just the facts.
