I'm guessing the more programs you have running,, the longer it takes to shut down. I have 1 GB, but I may get another stick put in if this keeps up. I have a huge ITunes library; that's why I asked about defraging. Thanks a lot. BTW, I totally screwed up my library earlier tonight and I have a bunch of duplicates of files with numbers on the ends of them. that I don't need. Is there a way that I can deleete all of them at once without selecting every single one? Or, do I have to select all of them individually? Thanks. Right now, I am selecting each one individually and deleeting it, but there are hundreds of them.
