Please explain?

Another thing that i forgot to mention, i am doing this for the first
time on this mac.  I instaled lepard, so this is the first shot with
mail, and this is the initial opening screen where i am having trouble.
There is a combo box, and voiceover is freaking out on this combo
box. Anyone else have any ideas?
