Yes it is a pop account. That's what i can't seem to change. I am
in the initial screen when mail opens up for the firsttime, that's
where i am making all of these changes.
This box that i am talking about, says it is a combo box, but i can't
enter it, it won't let me.
Any ideas?

I think you may have to edit your particular account so that it
features in the table of servers you use. I cannot for the world
of me remember now where I did it but you probably need to go to
file and accounts. When in Mail, press VO keys + M and you will
be in the menu bar for Mail. Arrow right to file and down to find
