hi olivia.
yep I know the feeling. my issue with notetakers is that for the price they
are limited in functionality and expansion. Ive been so used to mobile
computing with the mac and a couple of windows laptops. yep sorry windows. a
swear
word lol. no sorry lol
I am now taking on my iMac for the recording studio and a macbook for
general and mobile usage. just for the best in results possible. dont get me
wrong
but whenever I hear people saying that all these accessibility products are
better than a mainstream product like the mac I'm sorry but I have to put my
foot in it.
when I did some work for RNIB UK on their tech team and training users with
certain technologies. an assessor conducted work with a customer and
recommended a note taker. after close analysis of his assessment I spoke to
the
customer and re advised a laptop for him. as he emphasised the need for
certain
software, the assessor wanted the customer to have a note taker and tough.
after
a meeting with a manager I worked with and a rep for a certain computer
manufacturer we kitted him out with a new notebook computer.
sorry to clarify..,.... notebook....... that's salesman speak for laptop
computer
