ipod classic

Hey guys, alright i have the ipod clasic,  Just curious what features  
are somewhat usable?
I figured out the random shuffle function, you go in to the menu, go  
to the end of the menu, and click back 1 click.  Any ideas on what  
other features might work?
Also, how do i clear out my ipod with stuff i ahve loaded on to it?  I  
wanna reload a bunch of stuff.
