I can't because for some reason, Mac and Gmail don't get along.
Everyone's telling me that it's because of the formatting of the page.
 In either case, when I select all from the webpage, copy it and paste
it into Text Edit, I can't read it properly.  If I use the uparrow,
it'll bring me to a certain point and then start from the beginning
again.  I can't go word by word either.  It's very strange and only
happens with certain pages, Livejournal being the second one I've
noticed.
