Ah, thought you were using mail on the Mac, I always prefer to use
an email client, rather than web based mail

How do I select the last spoken phrase? Also, I have thought about
it, but I have almost 15,000 messages and would need to delete alot
of them so that it doesn't take forever to download. Plus, there are
times when I want messages to stay on the server. I haven't used an
email client in a very long time, but I'm willing to give it a shot if
nothing else works. Thanks for the suggestion.

Are you using G-Mail from Apple Mail? If not have you thought about
just setting up G-Mail through the Apple Mail interface? I use it
that
way with no problems.

No, I just went to Safari, opened the email and tried to select ithe
address and had the same problem. I guess I'll have to select and
paste the text before it into Text Edit, then open the page that's
in
the link, select the url from the address bar, apaste it into Text
Edit and then go back to the email and finish selecting it so I can
paste the rest of it into the document. I still have that paragraph
issue to deal with too, where it stops at the end of each one as I
described earlier.

Every time I want to select a link or some
text, I have to keep going in and out of the select mode. The
thing
is, it won't select the full address of a page if it's in a text.
Say
there's an email with a long web address. Well, it'll select up
to a
certain point and that's it. The method I'm using is vo shift
down
arrow to interact with the text and then vo enter to select.
I'll
use
vo right arrow to select, then vo enter to stop selecting,
command c
to copy and vo shift up arrow to stop interacting with the text.
A.R. I'm completely baffled by your problem. When I want to
select a
web address in an email, I press VO-Return to start selecting, VO-
Right Arrow once and it selects the whole web address even when it
goes over several lines, then VO-Return to stop selecting,
Command-c
to Copy, then I go to Safari, press Command-l then Command-v to
paste in the address, and Return to take me to the desired page.
Cheers,
Anne
