I got an old (anciet, actually) iBook just to play with VO back when
it first came out. And it was pretty good. Except that that iBook got
awful awful slow. So last year, I had a real good excuse to need a
notebook. We're working on adoption #2, and I knew I wasn't going to
be left with no computer this time and no way to Email home if I
couldn't get to an Internet cafe. And I was going to spend lots of
time at Children's Hospital and needed a computer for the same
reasons. So I got a MacBook. And a month later, they upgraded the
line, the bastards. Still, I love my MacBook and can now do pretty
near everything I need to without Windows, although I do have it
installed with VMWare Fusion for those rare times I might need it.
BTW, is anyone else playing with Amadeus Pro? It looks like it could
be pretty accessible, but since I'm an audio editing idiot, I have to
read the fine manual.
