I have something for you to consider. First, you can still get computers with xp on them but even if you do go with a Mac, best buy is not your best bet. You are better off going streight to apple and having it shipped for free and customizing it to your liking. Buy the apple care plan right away and while you are at it, hop on over to newegg.com and pick up a copy of xp pro sp2 for $139.99. Reason? Leopard comes with bootcamp and you can install windows and boot into it as though you were using a dedicated windows system and this way, while you are getting up to speed on the Mac and to do things we cannot yet do on the Mac that you may wish to do in windows. Oh, yeah, you'll still have to lay out the bread for jaws if/when you go with windows on your Mac but it'll be worth it or you could just use your old copy of jaws since you won't have to run vista.
