So which mode gives us the ability to view as everyone else does?

Josh I think a discusio of group versus DOM modes would be a great
idea for your next podcast. By the way, I really liked it, very
informative, and I thought it flowed really well. You really sem to
know what you are talking about.

What about turning it on and off on the fly? That may have been
covered already, I'm saving that thread for when my mail is cleaned

Grouped web browsing is one of the most enjoyable parts of
VoiceOver for me. Once you get used to it, it is a joy. DOM
mode is slow, frustrating, and inefficient. A friend of mine who
recently made the switch was getting frustrated with DOM mode.
He switched to grouped mode by my suggestion and loves it. You
just need to understand how it works, I think. Some users
gravitate toward DOM mode, because it is more like how they are
used to browsing with Windows screen readers, and don't take the
time to learn grouped mode, which is a real pity, IMO.
