We were going to go to our local Best Buy store, but on the advice of several of you on list as well as my really good pet Geek friend, we are going to take the extra drive to get the Mac right from Apple in person. Larry had told me that stores, he works at a major discount store, will buy a quanity of one thing and have to sale all of it before they can sale the next offering of that item. For example say they get a shipment of xyz computer and they get 2000 of them. But lets say before they can sale all of xyz computers, xyz xtra awsome edition comes out and has a bunch of upgrades and new things the old and still in stock xyz computer doesn't have. He said they'd HAVE to use up all the old stock before offering the new... Is the case with the Apple store? When we go in will we be getting the latest MacBook, or an older one? I guess it wouldn't matter *THAT* much. I know they upgraded the MacBook line the end of Febuary and I'd like to have as new a MacBook as they can give me. I was just wondering though if going to even the Apple store would give you the latest or the day-old-bread stock of computers... Thanks Jenny
