I don't believe the ipod has any built in speech yet. I remember reading
somewhere that you can install something called rock box on an ipod, which
is firmware that has some speech output. However, this would probably void
the warranty since it's not released by apple, again, this is just what I've
read, I don't have an ipod, so can't say for sure. Currently I will gladly
keep my victor reader stream.
