you know, there are so many events and it's so tedious trying to set it as I
usually my my event/action table really really really tight. once I get it,
to save myself head ache a having ever to do this again, can I export my
preset with all my event actions to a file or set of files, and then later
if needed, reimport it?

It isn't set by default, but you can have the system voice speak incoming
messages. You go to Preferences, and I think it's under the Events tab or
something. Also, you are placed in an edit field, and you need to
interact with it. You'll stay in it even after you press Enter to send an
outgoing message.
