Ok, I did a software update and that still didn't help. I checked in the universal access menu and the mouse keys were off. Then, I opened up VO and the numpad commander was unchecked. It's really weird, cause I can do things like command o to open things but I can't do any editing functions that involve command and I can't get to applications in the finder menu with command shift a. I have to open the Macintosh hd and then open applications that way. But yet, I can do things like command shift h to get to the home folder in the finder. I don't know what this is or why it started, but I really wish I could stop it and fast.
